Katia Basic Merino Tweed is a soft and resistant yarn recommended for the whole family. Its composition of merino wool and acrylic makes it perfect for being in contact with sensitive skin. The color chart features solid tones with mottled specks for a subtle tweed effect. It is ideal for knitting jumpers, jackets, shawls, ponchos, dresses and other autumn and winter garments. In addition, its high merino fiber content makes it extremely soft on the skin, ideal for children's sweaters or baby blankets.

Characteristics of Katia Basic Merino Tweed wool:

  • Composition: 52% Merino Superwash, 48% Acrylic.
  • Each ball contains 50 grams and 120 meters.
  • Thickness indicated for knitting with 3.5 to 4 mm needles.
  • Make a 10 x 10 cm sample by mounting 22 stitches and working 29 rows.
  • Machine washable up to 30°C on a wool cycle.
  • It can be machine dried.
  • Suitable for ironing at a maximum of 110ºC.
